Christopher Lee has always been my favourite Dracula and many a scary night was spent as a kid watching old Hammer Films into the early hours. Lee’s cloak is in the ‘Dracula Experience’ on the harbour side in Whitby.
But what about Gary Oldman – is he an even better Dracula? What would Bram Stoker think?
I did enjoy the way he portrayed the Prince of Darkness on screen, but what do YOU think? Leave a comment and add to the debate.

As you’ve guessed, he’s one of my favourites! Wonder if his Dracula cape is still on show at the ‘Dracula Experience’ in Whitby?

Christopher Lee has clocked up more film credits than any other living actor in a 62-year career, several of which were made in Borehamwood.
I wish I’d had the opportunity to meet the man himself at the recent Elstree Film Evening.

Yours truly has seen the said cape at The Dracula Experience in Whitby – not terribly interesting, I have to say, but it does look big and heavy!
