Seems like Bram’s novel just goes on and on.

Here’s news about a new adaptation from Dynamite Entertainment…

Newsarama.com : Moore & Reppion on ‘The Complete Dracula’

Leah Moore and John Reppion sat down with Newsarama to talk about The Complete Dracula.

Any thoughts about Stoker’s ‘Dracula’s Guest’? It’s mentioned in the article above. I couldn’t get to grips with it. Didn’t seem half as well written as ‘Dracula’.

Maybe it’s just me!

According to Variety, there are plans afoot for a new Dracula movie based not on Bram Stoker’s hero, but on the historical figure of Vlad the Impaler. The film is to be called, ‘Dracula, Year Zero.’ Can’t wait!

Of even more interest, Elizabeth Kostova’s novel, ‘The Historian’, is also set to make its appearance on the big screen. I think the ‘Blair Witch’ guy could be involved!

If you haven’t read the novel, I suggest you do so as it’s an excellent read. It’s a kind of ‘thinking persons’ Dracula story, based on certain actual historical events, but with a gothic twist.

Things are looking up!

Alan
